This week's featured technique on SCS' Technique Lover's Challenge was a new one for me: faux dry embossing. Lynn, our new hostess for this weekly challenge, gave some very good directions for this simple WOW technique (click on the link above for details), and the card above is what I came up with. Isn't it cool?The effect of this technique is kind of difficult to see from this photo, but you can see it better in this close up:
doesn't it look like it's embossed? It's really just a trick of the eye, achieved by layering a white image with a coloured one, one slightly offset from the other. Definitely WOWed me, in any case :o)
